PALMDALE, CA – Assemblyman Tom Lackey has earned the endorsement of the California Parks & Recreation Society in his re-election bid for the 36th District of the State Assembly.
“Assemblyman Lackey has been a dedicated community leader who isn’t afraid to work for common-sense policies that benefit all Californians,” stated CPRS Executive Director, Stephanie Stephens. “He shares our commitment to preserving California’s parks and recreation programs, and we support his re-election.”
Prior to his election to the State Assembly, Tom Lackey served on the Palmdale Elementary School District Board and served 3 terms on the Palmdale City Council. He is also a retired California Highway Patrol officer.
In addition to CPRS, Tom has received the endorsements of the California Association of Highway Patrolmen, Congressman Steve Knight, State Senator Scott Wilk, and Ret. Captain Don Ford of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Tom Lackey is seeking re-election to California’s 36th Assembly District, which includes the communities of Lancaster, Palmdale, Rosamond, Mojave and California City.
