PALMDALE, CA – Former Bakersfield Assemblymember and longtime businesswoman, Shannon Grove, has endorsed Assemblyman Tom Lackey in his campaign for reelection.
When discussing the endorsement, Grove stated, “During my tenure in the State Assembly, I proudly served alongside Tom Lackey as we fought hard to give rural communities a stronger voice in Sacramento. Tom’s background was shaped by Kern County so he understands the unique challenges that rural communities face. I am proud to endorse Tom Lackey for re-election because he is a strong leader who will continue to fight for our communities in Sacramento.”
Assemblyman Lackey has represented southeastern Kern County and northern Los Angeles County since 2014. As a Legislator, Lackey has been a staunch advocate for the unique communities that he represents. Lackey has worked on bringing new aerospace jobs to the district, strengthening public safety and making sure the rural communities of Kern County and the Antelope Valley are heard in Sacramento.
Tom Lackey is seeking re-election to California’s 36th Assembly District, which includes the communities of Lancaster, Palmdale, Rosamond, Mojave and California City.
