Palmdale, CA — Assemblyman Tom Lackey released the following statement, in response to his successful re-election in Assembly District 34:
“I am so grateful for the voters of Assembly District 34 who chose to send me back to Sacramento and continue representing our region. It has been the honor of a lifetime to serve our community in the State Assembly and I look forward to continuing the good work we are doing to keep the High Desert safe and prosperous.
Running against a colleague is never ideal. Assemblyman Smith served with integrity and I thank him for his dedication and commitment to our community.
Lastly, I want to thank my staff, campaign team, volunteers, supporters, and most of all, my family, without whom, this victory would not have been possible.”
