PALMDALE– Retired California Highway Patrol Officer and State Assemblymember Tom Lackey has received the endorsement of the California Association of Highway Patrolmen.
“Tom has demonstrated a real concern for the safety of the public and the members of our Association,” stated Doug Villars, President of the California Association of Highway Patrolmen. “We look forward to continuing our fine working relationship with him in the years to come.”
Tom Lackey developed a passion for public safety while working for the California Highway Patrol. For nearly three decades, Tom worked to keep our streets and neighborhoods safe. During this time, he also served as a member of the Antelope Valley Crime Task Force.
As someone who took the oath to protect and serve, Tom focuses much of his time in the State Assembly promoting legislation that strengthens protections for our first responders and increases public safety.
Lackey is running for reelection in California’s 36th Assembly District, which includes the communities of Lancaster, Palmdale, Rosamond, Mojave and California City.
