As a recent survivor hospitalized due to COVID-19, I know this virus should never be taken lightly. I urge people who are not wearing facemasks in public to reconsider. Facemasks are an easy way to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and keep families safe while social distancing times in these uncertain times.

Our front-line workers fighting COVID-19 deserve access to protective equipment, health benefits and paid leave. That’s why I supported a law that would provide workers’ compensation benefits to those infected at work.
